Special Treasures was inspired by Artist Terri Meyer's cat Sumo.  As he sat in the living room on her great grandmother's sewing machine, it compelled her to capture this moment.  Sumo has passed away, but the fond memory continues to touch the artist's heart.  The painting was named " Special Treasures" because each item in the painting has meaning.  The antique sewing machine was Terri's great grandmothers, Golda Fridline, the photograph is a picture of Golda, the handcarved santa was made by Terri's mother, Arlene, and the mirrors reflect the living room of Terri's childhood home in Ashland, Ohio. Signed prints, notecards and clocks available. Click here for clocks, mugs, mousepads and more.
